Being an Austin family photographer, one of my favorite parts of planning a photoshoot is picking a great location! For this photoshoot we are at Onion Creek Park near McKinney Falls State Park. It was so dense with foliage and beautiful colors, take a look!

The thing that I love most about fall family photoshoots are all the leaves! It adds so many fun pops of colors to your photos. When I’m picking a photoshoot location, one of the main things I pay attention to are how the colors look. Color is everything to me!

This girl was ALL about the fall vibes! She wanted to pick up all the orange leaves on the ground. Someone get her a pumpkin spice latte QUICK.

Eli was a champ during his photoshoot! He is a great example of a good boy.

As a family photographer, I want to include the whole family! Bringing your dog to your photoshoot is DEFINITELY welcome. However, I do recommend assessing your dog beforehand to see if they’re ready for a photoshoot. Can they sit and stay on command? Are they easily distracted? Are they afraid of strangers?

These are definitely things to consider ahead of time to make sure your photoshoot goes as smoothly as possible!
